I set up Channel Business Finance with one simple goal in mind; to help business people, to realise their plans to grow their business or assist in those tricky succession discussions.  We are Cardiff-based, serving Bristol and South Wales.

I can see a gap in the commercial market where a bank manager used to sit. The person who you may call, to share an idea, and get an opinion about a planned acquisition, the need for a loan or giving some thought to exiting the business on your own terms.

To this end, I can call upon extensive commercial experience, having spent many years in corporate banking across the M62 corridor in the UK and 13 years with New Zealand’s largest bank. I have seen hundred’s of businesses of all sizes.

I have helped many property guys and girls, both developers and investors. Worked with owners to restructure their businesses to maintain or build value. Guided many M&A transactions across various sectors, including in South Wales.

I work with my clients as a confidential sounding board for their ideas, provide insightful challenge to their strategy and help deliver those plans through regular catch ups. It could be through simple brokering, ad hoc advice or a more formal arrangement up to & including as a Non Executive Director.
